Welcome to Aviation Watch

Aviation Watch is an initiative of the Infrastructure Power & Petroleum Association of India (IPPAI),an independent non-profit organization providing a neutral forum for discussion and examination of policy, regulatory and consumer issues, critical to development of the Indian infrastructure sectors.

In view of the recent developments in the aviation sector, IPPAI has launched “Aviation Watch” which aims to create a responsible forum for debate and discussion of consumer issues critical to the sustainable development of civil aviation in India.

Aviation Watch proposes to organize a series of conferences and workshops in the country and aims to provide an open forum for all stakeholders and consumers for debate and discussion on key issues and opportunities in civil aviation and passenger security and safety.

The first Issue of the fortnightly newsletter entitled Aviation Watch will be launched on 25th September 2006 and will provide its readers with accurate, reliable, up-todate and comprehensive information on the key developments in the sector. The primary focus areas of this news service are policies, regulation, deals, infrastructure and consumer issues.

  • Rathyatra – Puri, Orissa ( Early July )
  • This spectacular chariot festival celebrated for 8 days is held at the famous Jagannath Temple at Puri (Orissa).< Thousands of devotees flock to Puri during the occasion, as they believe that a glimpse of Lord Jagannath in his chariot gives salvation. Thousands of devotees pull the chariots to the Gundicha Mandir situated about 3 kms away.
