2nd Civil Aviation Week - Airport & Airline Expo 2008

2nd Civil Aviation Week India – Airport & Airline 2008 Expo (March 18-20, 2008) provides a platform for all the sectors related with the aviation industry. The 2nd edition of the event will take place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 18-20 March 2008.


In addition to product displays pertaining to airports and airlines, the 2008 edition will have special focus on 5 allied sectors:


            General Aviation India 2008 Expo
will display corporate & commercial jets including fixed
         and rotary wing aircraft / charters etc.

         Aircraft Interiors India 2008 Expo will display products on aircraft interiors,in-flight
         entertainment etc.
 

        In-flight Catering & Hospitality India 2008 Expo will display products including food,  
       beverages, amenities, equipment and systems relevant to in-flight catering and hospitality.


           Air Cargo & Logistics India 2008 Expo
will include products and services relevant to the 
         growth of  the air cargo sector in India.     


        Job Mart India 2008 Expo will include products and services including aviation training
        academies & schools etc.                                                                                               
                                

The event will highlight the progress being made in the civil aviation sector and point out the numerous opportunities available. Aimed at tackling key issues of business and technology, and strategies in this sector, the 2nd Civil Aviation Week India – Airport & Airline 2008 Expo will harness global players and Indian private and public corporations in the field of civil aviation to bring together a “total solutions” package for buyers and sellers under one roof.


The event incorporates a concurrent international conference to bring together government officials, investors, industry leaders and international experts to discuss the way forward for the industry. It will be a valuable platform for organisations to introduce new products through in-depth presentations and to network with buyers.

  • This spectacular chariot festival celebrated for 8 days is held at the famous Jagannath Temple at Puri (Orissa).< Thousands of devotees flock to Puri during the occasion, as they believe that a glimpse of Lord Jagannath in his chariot gives salvation.
